More about the Tulip Festival Trip..

What a beautiful trip to Mt. Vernon on April 9, 10
Tupe' and via ready to go... Thanks Tupe' for driving and Via for navigating. You both were
awesome.

Lovely red and yellow tulips which appeared
to be bright Orange until you looked closely.

Below.. the old windmill at Roozengaarde.

Roozengaarde In the Skagit Valley. Lovely gardens and rich colors of many variety of Spring bushes and flowers.

Below: Don and Helen- more new friends who were passengers in our van, as well.

Beautiful yellow tulips. I saw no one tip-toeing through the tulips, however.

Our Van Driver... Tupe' and Via. We were so
blessed to be riding with the Praise team from
the Spokane Christian Center. We sang praises both going to Mt. Vernon and returning home.

The second and last day on our trip we left the Tulip fields and traveled a few miles to the coastal town of La Connor.

This is Ruth and Ivan Roberts, our most able and fine Tour Guides and cheerful companions.

They certainly found some unusual and interesting places for us to visit Thanks, a bunch.

How could anyone resist this photo op?
Isn't he gorgeous? The sign says "I'm hungry.
Don't mess with me."

This was a real treat and in the picture you will see from left...
Diana, Jim, Ruth, Ivan, John and Don. A few of the friends we enjoyed fellowship with . This was a unique Fruit and Produce Market.

A scheduled stop in Leavenworth was welcomed by all. The quaint shops with such a variety of goods made a happy time for every individual as they stretched legs and walked about... perusing the wares and purchasing here and there.

Not often that we get to see the Mountains in WA so this was a treat to get a view of snow covered peaks both on our way to the tulip fields and returning home. What a taste of God's beautiful creation from the mountains, pines, snow, colorful fields of tulips, to the friends with whom we traveled. Abba Father blessed abundantly.
