APPLE PICKING TIME:
Early in the fall, Trevor and Jakeb had a fun time in an orchard of a friend. She had invited the whole Pre-schooler class and families to come and pick apples. Such big Washington Red Delicious.
Stretch, "TJ", Atta boy! He got it.
They said there were lots of Apples, Grandma.
(How well I remember picking up apples for different farmers in the Fall, to make some money for School. My cousins would also come to the orchard and it was fun to see how many we could pick up, trying to beat each other in the final count. Those apples went to the Vinegar plant in Lyndonville, NY.)
"Look Mommy, aren't these big apples?
"I'm getting tired, Mommy."
Look at my cool shirt,
with the Sea Turtles on it.
TJ loves sea urchins and can name most all of the
Sharks, and special urchins and mammals.
A beautiful covering of snow and even some on our deck in the flower pots. It remained on the ground for several days as the temperature stayed in and around 29 or lower.
Thanksgiving Day was bright and lovely for our trip to Kristal's family for the day.
There was a beautiful fall of snow on Rattlesnake Mt. as we made our way to
Quincy, WA. It's about 90 miles north of us so Johnny drove us all. What a nice drive we had and it was special to be with our immediate family so long in the van. The boys are such fun.

Preta (Kristal's Mom) set a beautiful table for all of us to enjoy. Kristal's brother, Brock, his wife, Laura and their beautiful little girls were there; and her grandparents... Robert and Norma. 10 adults and 5 children. We shared such a warm and blessed time around the table enjoying the delicious food and then our individual "thanks" to God for all He has done for us throughout the year.
Thank you, Larry and Preta for such warm and elegant hospitality. The food was delectable.

Pre-school with him and we shared cookies we had made for the occasion.
