Tri-Cities Court Club "Work out"

Well, we have been to the gym twice this week. Monday at about 9 and Wednesday we made it at 7 or there abouts.

Had to go early so I could get back and be ready for my Bible Class at 10:30.

We meet in the Formal dining room around the table. Very convenient and comfortable. It was down in attendance a little this Wed. but some are not feeling well and had doctor's appointments. The five of us had a good time in the Word. We are studying Galatians and found the fourth chapter intriguing to say the least. Digging into each verse to determine Paul's message to us by the Holy Spirit, has proved to be a blessing beyond measure. The ladies are quick to share their thoughts and we also have a season of prayer. Lately, our thoughts have turned to our brothers and sisters who are suffering, in other parts of the world, for their faith and testimony. It causes one to ponder the situation we find ourselves in, what with our freedom and sometimes careless and casual way we worship. It is a call for a deeper relationship with our Lord. "Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6 May God be praised He truly is a gracious and loving Father.

Today, has been a laid back one. I've been doing some painting with water color and trying to capture on canvass some of God's beautiful handiwork around us. The Saddle-back Mountain range is the most unusual landscape we have ever encountered. I'll try to explain, by a sort of descriptive 'verse'.

Badger Mountain

"Oh Those Saddle Back Mountains"

Such a different terrain from anything we've ever seen before in- America, Africa or anywhere else.

Whoever heard of round-top mountains, bare of trees and looking so naked.

But it grows on you! At different times of day there seems to be a new crevice here and there, depending on the light of day. Sometimes the covering of the ground takes on a purple haze giving a person the urge to reach out and touch the velvet looking surface.

Winter, Spring, Summer or Autumn each have their own impact on the appearance of these oversize mounds of Lava.

They seem to call out to come climb and see the world out there around Kennewick, Pasco and Richland.

Until next time.. God bless each of you and hold you close.
